 Who is Show Me Collectibles? My Guard DogWe welcome your interest in knowing who you are doing business with. Pam and I have been domestic hobby people through out our 37 years of marriage. I am retired from the VA after 25 years of combined U.S. Army and government(VA)service. Coins, stamps, and stained glass became a needed diversion from medicine and patient care. Quilts,afgans and needle point are among Pam's leisure activities. Since retirement sharing our passions keeps us young.We have all kept collectibles as we grew up.Stuffed animals and dolls to GI Joe and baseball cards. American coins and stamps have always been and continue to be affordable collectibles. We started with pennies, nickels and dimes when we were kids; checking Dad's change was always fun, but it was Mom's change that provided my first 1921-D Mercury dime. I also have many rolls of wheat pennies rolled by my Dad in the 1960's, so surprises are still waiting. The collectible gemstones acquired over the past 10 years for my three daughters and wife have provided unique collectible jewelry for each of them. Now these collectible gem stones can be shared with you as are the other affordable collectibles in my store. We all dreaded history in school but now the U.S. Mint has made aspects of American history come alive with the State Quarters program and now depicting the President coins and those of their First Ladies.
